We would rather return money than keep an unhappy subscriber. This page says exactly where you stand, including the part the law gives you whether we like it or not.
A service, not a physical product
Nothing is shipped to you, so there is no return policy and nothing to send back. What follows covers cancelling, withdrawing and getting money back.
Your 14-day right to change your mind
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, the law gives you fourteen days from the day you subscribe to withdraw, without giving a reason.
- If you have not yet received your first report, you get a full refund.
- If you asked us to start immediately and we have already delivered a report, we may keep a proportionate amount for what was delivered, and refund the rest. For a monthly plan that is a matter of a euro or two.
- To withdraw, just write to [email protected]. No form and no reason needed.
This right does not apply to businesses buying in the course of their trade, but see the next section — in practice we treat everyone much the same.
Cancelling a monthly plan
Cancel whenever you like, by email. The plan ends at the close of the month you have already paid for, and nothing further is taken. We do not ask for notice and there is no cancellation fee. The month already delivered is not refunded.
Cancelling a 6 or 12 month plan
You can stop at any point. We refund the unused whole months, calculated at the monthly price of your plan rather than the discounted rate, because the discount was given in exchange for the longer term.
A worked example, so there is no surprise: you paid €76,70 for twelve months of Grow and you cancel after four. Four months at the monthly price of €7,99 is €31,96, so you are refunded €44,74.
If the service does not do what we said
Tell us within 14 days of a report and be specific. We will correct it at our cost. If we cannot, we refund the part of the fee that relates to it. If our monitoring was not running at all for a period, we refund that period in full rather than merely extending it, if that is what you prefer.
Done for you work
Quoted work can be stopped at any time. We invoice only what was genuinely done up to that day, show you what that was, and refund the rest of any deposit. Work not yet started is never charged for.
If we cancel
If we stop providing the service for any reason, you get a full refund of everything paid for periods not yet delivered, and you keep every report already produced.
How refunds are paid
Back to the original payment method, in euro, the same currency you were charged in. Normally within 5 working days of being agreed, and in any case within 14 days. Your bank may take a few days more to show it.
Payment disputes
If you do not recognise a charge, or think it is wrong, email us first at [email protected]. We answer within one working day, and where the charge is ours to refund we would far rather refund it directly than put you through a chargeback. You keep every right you have to raise the matter with your card issuer.
